The Universitat Politècnica de València recognizes the 25 best secondary school teachers in the Valencian Community. The awards ceremony will take place on June 4 at the Gandia Campus.
The Universitat Politècnica de València is once again highlighting the value of teaching excellence with a new edition of the Magistrales the program that distinguishes the 25 best teachers of Compulsory Secondary Education, Baccalaureate and Training Cycles of the Valencian Community.
Teachers who leave their mark
As every year, it is the UPV first-year students themselves who propose the nominations, thus recognizing the professor who has left a decisive mark on their academic and personal career.
With this initiative, the UPV strengthens its relationship with secondary school teachers and contributes to building bridges between secondary and university education, favoring the creation of links between both stages.
Recognition of the vocation and commitment of teachers
Magistrales not only highlights the vocation and commitment of teachers, but also dignifies a key profession for society, underlining its essential role in the training of new generations.
Throughout its editions, this program has brought together teachers from all over the Valencian Community, from Vinaròs, Segorbe and Benidorm to La Pobla de Vallbona, Cullera, Alcoy or Elda. Professionals with diverse profiles who teach both technical subjects -Mathematics, Physics or Computer Science- and humanities subjects -Language, Geography and History-. Among them, there are teachers who are just starting their careers and others who have extensive experience, working in public, private or subsidized centers.
Lectures at the Gandia Campus
For this ninth edition, the awards ceremony will be held on Thursday, June 4th at 5:30 p.m. in the Aula Magna of the Campus of Gandia of the UPV which is consolidated as a reference scenario to pay tribute to educational excellence.
The event will also include the participation of Fran Tudela, known as “Fran Tudela” Cabrafotuda content creator and communicator.
Magistrales, a recognition of the UPV to the exceptional work done by teachers of secondary, high school and training cycles of the Valencian Community.
