A Tribute to Student Support and Guidance. On June 18, the University of Valencia (UPV) held a ceremony to honor the PIAE+ 2026 Teams.
The UPV held this heartfelt event as a gesture of recognition and gratitude to all those who make the Comprehensive Student Support Plan (PIAE+) possible. The event brought together faculty mentors, student mentors, and staff involved in a program that, year after year, guides, advises, and supports thousands of undergraduate, master’s, and doctoral students.
The ceremony was led by Marina Alonso Díaz, director of the Department of Comprehensive Student Support and Guidance, in collaboration with Eloina García, and was attended by the UPV’s rector, José E. Capilla. During the event, the importance of supporting and guiding students at a polytechnic university like the UPV was highlighted, reinforcing the institution’s commitment to a well-rounded, accessible, and high-quality education.
In addition, the work and dedication of the faculty members of the School of Fine Arts—Vanesa Valero, Alejandro Mañas, and Eva Pérez, as well as student tutor Vivi Martínez, who were honored for their outstanding contribution to the development and consolidation of the PIAE+ program, as well as for their commitment to supporting and guiding the university students in our Faculty.
The event concluded with a well-deserved tribute to all the PIAE+ teams, whose daily work helps build a more humane and inclusive university that is committed to the academic success and well-being of its student community.
