Presentation of the degree

The objective of this degree is to scientifically and technically train future professionals in this field. The degree enables students to exercise the profession industrial engineer. It consists of a basic training module; a training module shared by the industrial branch; a specific training module in mechanics and a final module specific to the student's choice according to 2 different itineraries: one of them is studied in the Escuela Politècnica Superior de Alcoi and the other in the School of Design Engineering.

Career opportunities

You will be trained to manage industrial works, be responsible for industrial structures and constructions, design and maintain machines and industrial facilities, as well as organize and manage production. You will be able to manage industrial companies, carry our certifications, verifications and surveys, and take on teaching and research tasks.

International mobility and internships

There are many possibilities to complete the studies in different universities in the EU, the US, Latin America, Japan, Australia and different African countries.

The students will be able to do internships in companies, including the FYD, from different industrial sectors, which will make them aware of the professional reality under the tutelage of technical staff of the company and of the degree's teaching staff.

Further studies

With this degree you have access the Master's Degree in Industrial Engineering, which enables to exercise the profession of industrial engineer.

Furthermore, the Degree enables access the following master's degrees at the UPV: Mechanical Engineering; Aeronautical Engineering; Industrial Constructions and Installations; Project Administration and Management; Integrated Computer-Aided Design and Manufacturing; Business, Products and Services Management; Biomechanics Engineering; Design Engineering; Maintenance Engineering; Propulsive Systems for a Sustainable Mobility, and Prevention of Occupational Risks.

As in the rest of the cases, students may apply for admission to any UPV master's degree by taking the appropriate levelling courses.
