Terms of use of the remote access service to DSIC desktops and virtual machines

The remote access service is provided to all DSIC staff and to students of courses whose internships are assigned to DSIC teaching laboratories, as well as to students of other courses that the department management has expressly authorised upon request of the teaching staff.

Outside working hours, the remote access service is offered "as is", i.e., without any kind of guarantee. Service incidents may be reported at any time, but such incidents will only be dealt with during working hours.

Linux and Windows remote desktops

These two desktops are equivalent to the Linux and Windows installations of the DSIC teaching laboratories. You can access them from tthe page polilabsvpn.upv.es by logging into the ALUMNO or UPVNET domain, and they are as follows:

Please note that to use PoliLabs VPN, you need to be physically connected to the UPV network or via VPN (more information on VPN access to the UPV).

Remote machines

The DSIC provides a remote access service to virtual machines for specific courses. This service is accessible from the page portal-ng.dsic.upv.es after authentication in the ALUMNO or UPVNET domain. Please note that to use PORTAL-NG, it is also necessary to be connected physically to the UPV network or via VPN (more information on VPN access to the UPV).
