Política de protección de datos personales en el ámbito de las prácticas en empresa

The parties shall inform the signing parties and the contact persons who act on behalf of each of them, that the personal data provided thereunder or those that they provide later, shall be processed by each of the parties with the purpose of managing the maintenance, compliance, development, control and execution of the provisions herein, whereas the legal relationship of the parties is the foundation of the legitimacy.

Without prejudice to the obligations of active advertising and right of access to public information provided by Law 19/2013, of 9 December, on transparency, access to public information and good governance, and by Law 2/2015 of 2 April, of the Regional Government of Valencia, on Transparency, Good Governance and Citizen Participation of the Region of Valencia, the parties undertake to respect the confidentiality of the information supplied in the implementation of this Agreement or specific agreements derived therefrom.

With respect to the processing of personal data that may arise from the execution of this Agreement, the parties expressly agree to comply with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the Parliament and of the Council, of 27 April 2016, on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and the free movement of these data and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (GDPR) and Organic Law 3/2018, of 5 December, on the protection of personal data and the guarantee of digital rights.

The UPV shall process the personal data of the signing parties of the Agreement, of contact persons and of any others related to its execution in the following terms:

b) Contact information of the data protection delegate

The data protection delegate may be contacted by email at dpd@upv.es or by writing to the General Secretariat of the Universitat Politècnica de València.

c) Purposes and legal basis of the processing

Personal data is processed on the basis of the execution of a contract under the provisions of article 6.1.b) of the GDPR, in compliance with a legal obligation 6.1 c) of the GDPR derived from Organic Law 6/2001, of 21 December, of Universities and of the Royal Decree 592/2014, of 11 July which regulates the external academic practices of university students. In matters of Social Security, and to comply with additional provision 52 of Royal Decree-Law 2/2023, of March 16, which regulates the registration in the General Treasury of external academic internships in companies and institutions, the UPV may interoperate electronically with other Public Administrations to verify and obtain, where appropriate, the student's data, necessary for the formalization of the internship, including the Student's Social Security affiliation number.

d) Recipients

The data of the parties involved shall be communicated to the other parties as a necessary requirement for the execution of this Agreement.

e) No international data transfers are expected

f) Conservation criteria

Personal data shall be kept indefinitely for the accreditation of the training received. However, they shall be subject to subsequent conservation in compliance with the Spanish legislation on historical and documentary assets

g) Exercise of rights

The individuals concerned have the right to exercise the rights of access, rectification, deletion, portability, limitation or opposition to the processing by providing a copy of an official document that identifies them (ID, NIF ‐ NIE, Passport), and if necessary, documentation proving their application to:

h) Data protection authority
