First-year students in the Master’s Degree Program in Occupational Risk Prevention (MUPRL) at the Polytechnic University of Valencia (UPV) participated in a career guidance activity organized in collaboration with the UPV’s Integrated Employment Service (SIE).
The session was attended by Pepe Espinós Domingo, a graduate of MUPRL, who shared with the students his professional journey, as well as the challenges, lessons learned, and decisions that have shaped his career in the field of occupational safety and health.
During the meeting, practical issues related to job searching, preparing applications, and the hiring process were discussed. Drawing on his own experience, Pepe offered recommendations and advice on entering the workforce and building a career in the sector.
These types of activities complement academic training with real-world experiences, exposing students to the professional world and providing them with the tools they need to plan their next steps.
