REFLECT ON HOW WE LIVE

The practical part of the subjects is coordinated through case studies. In the first semester we deal with cases from the 20th century and in the second semester with cases from the 21st century.

The fundamental objectives of the master’s program are:

-To propose creative and innovative solutions to housing problems, which respond to various existing social needs or to environmental situations that have arisen.

-To design innovative housing by proposing housing solutions and implementing sustainable construction and energy measures in any type of context.

-Apply and evaluate sustainable active and passive constructive and energetic solutions and measures for the definition of innovative housing design.

-Determine and apply sustainable management strategies and policies for habitat proposals, taking into account social innovation processes, in different contexts.

-Determine and apply regulations, financing mechanisms and sustainable management in the implementation of housing projects.

-Efficiently manage the methodologies, tools and techniques necessary for the elaboration of the Master’s Thesis.

-Elaborate, present and defend an original exercise carried out individually, before a university tribunal. The exercise will consist of a research work or a housing innovation project, applying the knowledge, techniques and skills acquired in the subjects of the Master.
