The Polytechnic University of Valencia (UPV), through the Food Research & Engineering Institute (FoodUPV), has opened the pre-registration period for its two official graduate programs in the food sector: the Master’s Degree in Food Safety and Quality Management (MUGSCA), and the Master’s Degree in Food Science and Engineering (MUCIA).
The pre-registration period will be open June 15–26 in 2026, offering interested individuals the opportunity to join two leading programs focused on specialization and employability in the food industry.
These master’s programs are designed to train highly qualified professionals capable of meeting the current challenges facing the agri-food sector, which is driven by innovation, sustainability, and growing demands for food quality and safety.
The MUGSCA It focuses on the comprehensive management of food safety and quality, providing knowledge on regulations, control systems, auditing, and risk management—key aspects for ensuring food safety throughout the food chain.
Both programs stand out for their practical approach and its links with the business and scientific communities, facilitating students’ entry into the workforce through internships and participation in R&D&I projects.
