On May 14, at the Faculty of ADE, the Master’s Degree in Financial and Tax Management, in collaboration with the Faculty of ADE and the UPV SIRVE Strategic Plan, organized the conference “Digital Transformation of Finance: from operational efficiency to multinational consolidation in SAP environments” given by Ramón Montero, Manager Finance Transformation & Digital Innovation at Tetrapack.
The conference addressed what it means to transform the financial area of a company, an area that mainly encompasses accounting processes. Issues such as standardization, automation, data integration, reporting, governance and control were analyzed and presented with examples. Special emphasis was placed on the key processes that generate value. In addition, the challenges of consolidating financial statements in multinationals and the processes to prepare an efficient consolidation were discussed.

The conference was followed by Master students and other FADE students, mainly by students of the Master in Business, Product and Service Management and students of the ADE degree.
