Graduation Ceremony of the Master’s Degree in Food Science & Engineering 2025

The students of the Master’s Degree in Food Science & Engineering at UPV have already graduated.

Last Friday, we proudly celebrated the graduation ceremony of the students of the Master’s Degree in Food Science and Engineering at the Universitat Politècnica de València (UPV), in a joint event with the Master’s in Food Quality and Safety Management. Both programmes, coordinated by FoodUPV, continue to stand out as academic benchmarks in the food sector, both nationally and internationally.

This academic year has been particularly remarkable for our programme: all available spots were filled, with a diverse cohort of students from various regions of Spain and several Latin American countries. This cultural and academic diversity enriched the learning environment and provided a global perspective essential to addressing today’s food system challenges.

The event was honoured by the presence of Vicente Barberá Navarro, co-founder of Viromii, who served as the ceremony’s patron. His inspiring speech encouraged our graduates to embrace innovation, entrepreneurship and sustainability, urging them to play a leading role in transforming the food industry.

The success of this graduating class would not have been possible without the dedication and excellence of the teaching staff, whose commitment has been key in training highly skilled professionals ready to lead in the fields of food science and engineering, with both technical rigour and ethical responsibility.

From the master’s team, we would like to thank everyone who contributed to this journey and offer our heartfelt congratulations to our new graduates. Your dedication and enthusiasm are a true reflection of the value of this programme.

We continue building the future of food through science and engineering!
