Bachelor’s Degree in Intelligent Manufacturing
The Bachelor’s Degree in Intelligent Manufacturing offers a multidisciplinary programme that combines industrial engineering, mechanical engineering, computer science and automation. It aims to prepare you for the challenges of modern industry, with a focus on digitalisation, automation and the sustainability of manufacturing processes. The programme covers the entire manufacturing cycle, from design and simulation to maintenance, incorporating Industry 4.0 technologies such as the Internet of Things and artificial intelligence. It is taught in English by the Beihang Valencia Polytechnic Institute (BVPI), with an international and highly practical focus.

Career options
You will be trained to become a highly qualified professional capable of leading the digital transformation in smart manufacturing. You will be able to optimise production systems and integrate into strategic sectors such as the automotive, aeronautics, energy or advanced logistics industries, applying advanced simulation and control tools.
International mobility and work placements
The degree promotes a clear international focus, as it is taught at the Beihang Valencia Polytechnic Institute (BVPI) by academic staff from Spain, China, and other countries. The UPV actively promotes mobility through its International Exchange Programmes Office (OPII). In addition, the programme includes laboratory placements and collaborative projects to enable students to solve real-world industry problems in a global and innovative environment.


Further study
This degree provides you with a solid theoretical and practical foundation, enabling you to continue your postgraduate studies in engineering or Industry 4.0 technologies. Upon completing this degree, you can apply for the Master’s Degree in Intelligent Manufacturing, which is also taught at the BVPI, or these other master’s degrees at the UPV’s campuses in Spain: Advanced Engineering in Production, Logistics and Supply Chain Management; Energy Technologies for Sustainable Development; Industrial Safety; and Industrial Constructions and Installations. In addition, you will be able to access any UPV Master’s degree by completing the relevant bridging courses.
