Call 2024
The purpose of this call is to grant, on a competitive basis and applying the principles of publicity, objectivity, transparency, equality and non-discrimination, grants aimed at students and graduates of foreign universities in Latin America, for the completion of Master’s Degrees at the UPV and responds to the objective of attracting talent and strengthen the collaboration of the UPV with Latin American Higher Education institutions, contributing to the development of quality graduate studies in Latin America and promoting the internationalization of the Universitat Politècnica de València.
Application deadline: until May 30, 2024 at 23:59 hours (GMT/UTC+02:00) Madrid.
Number of places available: up to a maximum of 35 scholarships.
Amount of the Scholarships: The amount of the grant from the UPV will consist of the following:
- The amount of the ECTS credits of the subjects of the Master corresponding to first enrollment, with a maximum of 60 ECTS, including the administrative fees of opening the file, but not the fee for the issuance of the degree and other fees or insurance.
- An additional travel allowance of 750 €, which will be paid to the student in a bank account opened in Spain once it is confirmed that the student has joined the the Master and the first bimonthly report has been submitted. The nominated will be applicable for the student enrolled in a Master’s degree with face-to-face or hybrid teaching that cannot be carried out completely online and includes a phase in which the student has to go to the Universitat Politècnica de València for its realization.
Aimed at: students and graduates from foreign universities in Latin America, for the completion of Master’s Degrees at the UPV and responds to the objective of attracting talent and strengthening the collaboration of the UPV with Latin American Higher Education institutions, contributing to the development of the quality of postgraduate studies in Latin America and promoting the internationalization of the Universitat Politècnica de València.
The management of the procedure will be carried out through the Ibero-American University Association of Postgraduate Studies. More information at the following link.

Amount of the Scholarships: The amount of the grant from the UPV will consist of the following:
- The amount of the ECTS credits of the subjects of the Master corresponding to first enrollment, with a maximum of 60 ECTS, including the administrative fees of opening the file, but not the fee for the issuance of the degree and other fees or insurance.
- An additional scholarship of 1,500 €, which will be paid to the student in a bank account opened in Spain, once it is confirmed that he/she has joined the Master’s program.
