Valencian Language Courses for the First Quarter of the 2026–2027 Academic Year.

The Service for the Promotion and Standardization of Language at the Universitat Politècnica de València (UPV) is offering Valencian language courses for the first semester of the 2026–2027 academic year at levels A1, A2, B1, B2, C1, and C2, with the aim of supporting language learning in Valencian.

These courses are designed to help you prepare for the Valencian language certification exams administered by universities (CIEACOVA, cieacova.com), the Junta Qualificadora de Coneixements de Valencià (JQCV), or other institutions.

Program Types and Levels

In addition to videoconference and online courses at the A2, B1, B2, C1, and C2 levels, in-person courses at the C1 and C2 levels have been organized at the UPV’s Gandia campus. These are 60-hour courses, consisting of 40 hours of in-person instruction and 20 hours online.

Classes will be held from September 28 to December 3, 2026, in the morning or afternoon, depending on the level.

Students in the UPV Student Group who are enrolled in B2.1, C1.1, and C2.1-level courses may request a refund of the fee for the Valencian language proficiency exams in the January 2027 testing session organized by the UPV, provided they have obtained the certificate of completion for the Valencian language course in which they were enrolled.

Pre-registration for the UPV’s Valencian language courses for the first semester of the 2026–2027 academic year will remain open until September 20. For more information, see this link.
