The presentation of the cross-cutting project

A new class of the Master’s Degree in Transmedia Communication is wrapping up its program with the presentation of projects developed for real companies.

The student body of the Master’s Degree in Transmedia Communication (MUCT) at the UPV Gandia campus has presented the work completed in the course Cross-cutting project The event marked the conclusion of the 2025–2026 academic year’s training program and showcased the practical application of the knowledge acquired throughout the master’s program.

The session marked the culmination of a process that began during the first semester, when students started collaborating with companies and organizations affiliated with the master’s program: Colegio Las Colinas, Essencia Inmobiliaria, Fermax, Fundación Next2U, and Kentia Interiores. Following this initial contact, the students worked in teams to analyze the organizations. “After our first meeting with the companies, we conducted an internal and external analysis of each one to identify their needs and pinpoint opportunities for improvement in the area of communication,” explains Gemma Piqueras, a student in the master’s program.

Based on this assessment, the students designed and developed proposals tailored to each organization’s specific objectives, incorporating what they had learned in various courses within the master’s program. Among these, those related to the creation of digital content and audiovisual pieces for social media stand out. “As a result, we have produced various audiovisual pieces and digital content tailored to each organization,” adds Gemma.

During the final presentation, the teams outlined the work process they followed, the solutions they proposed, and the results they achieved. The event demonstrated the master’s students’ ability to tackle challenges typical of the professional world, such as strategic analysis, project planning, collaborative work, decision-making, and publicly defending proposals in a real-world context.

An event that strengthens the connection between the university and the business community

In this regard, the course Cross-cutting project It serves as a final opportunity to integrate what students have learned, as it allows them to jointly apply the skills acquired during the master’s program and connect the content covered in the various courses with the specific needs of the business world.
