If you pass all your first-year college courses, we’ll refund your tuition.
The Valencian Regional Government has given the green light to the “University Boost: Free First-Year Tuition” Scholarships, which reimburse each student the amount they paid for their first-year tuition in 2025–2026, provided they pass all their courses.
All students born in 2000 or later who are enrolling for the first time in a bachelor’s or dual-degree program on a full-time basis and who commit to continuing in the same program during their second year are eligible. Students must be registered as residents of the Valencian Community.
The Valencian Regional Government has allocated a budget of 20 million euros for these scholarships and estimates that they could benefit nearly 20,000 students, representing almost all the students who passed the PAU in 2025.
The Terms and Conditions of This Call for Applications specify that students will not have to apply for the scholarship; rather, it will be awarded automatically. In this case, the universities will be responsible for verifying which students meet the requirements and for sending a list to the Valencian Regional Government by October 31, 2026. As of that date, the Universitat Politècnica de València will reimburse eligible students for the amounts they paid during the 2025–2026 academic year (standard tuition at the UPV costs 1,040.4 euros), as indicated in the call for applications.
