Before starting classes

Make a note in your diary for September 5: welcome day for the campus’ new students.

Monday, September 8, classes will begin from academic year 2025-2026 at the Gandia campus of the Universitat Politécnica de València (UPV). An important date, especially for those who are beginning their university studies.

For this reason, the campus organizes the welcome days, sessions aimed at students who begin a new stage in the university campus, whether in undergraduate or graduate studies. During this meeting, the aim is to welcome and present all that this center has to offer in terms of services, facilities and educational and leisure possibilities.

The welcome day promoted by the Integral Plan for Student Support (PIAE+) will take place on Friday, September 5th. The session, aimed at undergraduate students will begin at 9:30 a.m. in the Aula Magna. Students will meet the management team, the campus facilities, the degree or double degree program they will study and the faculty and student tutors.

For the master’s students the welcome day will be held on monday, september 15.

However, for the students of the University Master’s Degree in Secondary Education Teaching the activity is brought forward to the September 8.

On the other hand, for the exchange students a meeting is scheduled for Thursday, September 4.

Services fair

The welcome days are complemented by the celebration of the Services Fair. An event where you can learn about everything offered by the different areas that make up the university: the library (to know the schedules and how to access the facilities), the cultural proposals or the sports offer (which is free for students on campus). And also contact the team of the Student Delegation or the Integrated Employment Service, among others.

At Gandia campus of the UPV, the Services fair will be held on thursday, september 18.
