The biggest educational and technological event of the summer with activities for all audiences.
With the collaboration of the campus of Gandia of the Universitat Politècnica de València (UPV), comes FuturSteam. An unique experience that combines education, technology and creativity designed for all audiences: from the youngest to the youngest, teachers and professionals.
“The initiative has already been carried out in other years and we have supported it from the Chair of Innovation of the Gandia campus but this edition is much more ambitious in terms of workshops and activities, covering more STEAM areas. And, for this occasion, it counts with the sponsorship of the Gandia Tourism and Promotion Chair which encompasses the Chair Gandia Intelligent Tourism and the Gandia Urban Scene Classroom“, explains José Marín-Roig, deputy director of Business, Employment and Entrepreneurship Chairs.
It is worth remembering that the Gandia campus is also promoting the importance of introducing the learning of the STEAM disciplines -a term that refers to the acronym for Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts y Mathematics– among young people. In addition, as a university center, “we are committed to offer degrees y masters in these areas.
A different, technological and creative summer
So, the Gandia campus could not miss this event and will be present at the event “offering information about the degrees it offers, handing out gifts with the campus brand to those who visit our stand and participating in the scheduled activities with the help of students,” says Marín-Roig.
FuturSteam Gandia 2025 will be carried out from July 15 to August 30 at Espai Baladre (Gandia Beach). The program includes a variety of interactive workshops, where you can learn programming with Minecraft Education, explore robotics with LEGO, participate in competitions, live educational virtual reality experiences, enjoy an Arcade area, build in the lego library and marvel at an exhibition of dioramas made with LEGO.
