Fourth edition of these awards, with which the university recognizes the work carried out by research personnel in six categories.
The Universitat Politècnica de València (UPV) has announced a new edition of its Research Awards, an initiative with which it has been recognizing and valuing the research, dissemination and knowledge transfer activities of its research staff for four years now.
In this fourth edition, there are also six award categories:
- Excellent Research Impact Award
- Excellent Research Publication Award
- Excellent Research Achievement Award
- Media Impact of Research Award
- Award for Scientific Dissemination
- Knowledge Transfer Award
No application is required to apply for these awards. The only exception is the category of Knowledge Transfer, in which candidates must submit a report of a maximum of three pages – the deadline is open until September 26.
The report must indicate the people from the UPV who have participated in the transfer; describe the knowledge generated in their research, as well as its origin; the path followed until its transfer and the impact it has had on the recipients of this knowledge, also indicating to which disciplinary field the candidacy is presented -from those indicated in the annex of the bases of the call.
