The poster contest of the Transversal Work of the 1st year of Fine Arts “already has a winner”.

The results of the poster contest of the Transversal Work of the first year of the Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree were announced yesterday,January 27that the close ofHistory and Artistic Expression SymposiumThe first year of the program was presented to the entire first year student body.

The contest, developed during the2025-2026 within the framework of the subjectImaging Technologies I and coordinated by the first year teaching staff, has focused on the theme ofLandscapes of changea proposal linked to theSustainable Development Goals (SDGs). From the concept of landscape, students have addressed issues related to sustainability, land transformation and contemporary environmental challenges.

All seven first-year groups participated in the competition, with an involvement ofmore than 300 students. The jury selected as the winning proposal the poster designed byMélani García Gaspart (1AD)which becomes the representative image of the Transversal Work of the first year in this edition.

The project highlights the value of thecreative and experimental process of students in their first formative stages and consolidates Transversal Work as a fundamental tool for the development of collective and interdisciplinary projects aligned with the values of the SDGs in the field of Fine Arts.
