Once we receive your official nomination, we will send you the detailed instructions to complete the admission process.

Language Requirements for Exchange Students FBBAA 26/27

Note that UPV has upgraded its language requirements for 26/27 exchange students, intra-european mobility. The Faculty of Fine Arts will offer more flexible options to its students, trusting on student’s commitment to be prepared for their period abroad. In our Faculty,  students will have to prove at least a Spanish A2 level (conservation and restoration, level B1).

  • All students will have to show proof of their language level, either at application stage, either prior to arrival.
  • Accepted certificates:  SIELE,  DELE UNIcert, TELC, Languagecert USAL esPro
  • At application stage, when there is no certificate, it is also accepted this document signed by the university of origin ONLY THIS TEMPLATE
  • One week prior to arrival, (Sept. or Jan.) students who used this template, will have to send their certificates.
  • Italian or portuguese native speakers are encouraged to prove their level the same way. However, it’s not mandatory for them. In case they decide not to send a certificate, they will have to upload this self-statement: https://www.upv.es/entidades/sint/download/20960.
  • Spanish native speakers coming from European universities, will have to upload this self-statement declaring spanish is their mother tongue: https://www.upv.es/entidades/sint/download/20960.

-UPV offers free spanish language courses for exchange students (A2 to C1, 4,5ECTS each semester) however the requirements to access to these courses are stricter as well: https://www.upv.es/entidades/sint/en/spanish-courses-at-upv/

-Note that students applying to other UPV Schools (Architecture, Product Design, etc.) have stricter requirements: https://www.upv.es/entidades/sint/en/incoming-language-requirements/

-Students coming from overseas to UPV may have different requirements. However, note that the Faculty of Fine Arts does not offer courses in english.
