The ENHANCE IT Knowledge Hub brought together specialists in information technology and university mobility at the BildungsCampus in Heilbronn (Germany), which is home to ETH Zurich alongside other institutions. Over the course of the three-day event, participants – including two colleagues from the UPV – addressed key issues relating to digital transformation, with a particular focus on the interoperability of IT systems and the improvement of student mobility processes. Experiences were shared, progress made was assessed, and the next steps towards a more integrated European campus were defined.
Assessment of Progress and New Goals
One of the main items on the agenda was a review of the progress made on the Innovative Learning Campus catalog over the past year. The participants analyzed the results achieved and agreed on the remaining tasks needed to continue their development. The meeting also helped establish a common understanding of the information technology component of the ENHANCE+2 proposal, strengthening coordination among the participating institutions and reinforcing their shared goals regarding digital transformation.

Student mobility: At the heart of the debate
University mobility was a key focus of the working sessions. Participants analyzed the various stages of the student’s journey, from discovering mobility opportunities to the recognition of academic achievements. This analysis helped identify challenges, critical points, and differences in the procedures of partner universities. The goal is to identify opportunities for improvement and move toward processes that are simpler, better-coordinated, and more accessible to students.
