Created by students, for students: ENHANCE launches the Student Initiative Fund

The members of the Student Forum have launched a new initiative for their colleagues: the Student Initiative Fund. Designed and organized entirely by students, this fund supports student-led projects, events, and campaigns that help shape campus life and reflect what Europe means to those who study there.

The selected initiatives will receive a grant ranging from 500 and 1,000 €. Whether it’s a workshop to encourage participation from the university community, a creative campaign, or an exchange between campuses, the fund aims to turn ideas into reality, while allowing participants to develop their project management skills and connect with students from across the Alliance.

“Transform your campus. Reflect your Europe.”

This is the idea behind the call for entries.

The fund is an example of co-creation in action. It demonstrates that the future of Europe and the ENHANCE Alliance is best built by involving students and giving them a leading role.

Who is eligible to apply for the grants?

All students (Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree) enrolled at any of the ENHANCE universities are eligible to participate, either individually or as part of a team. Each proposal must have a designated applicant, who must submit proof of enrollment, a project plan, a budget, and a brief explanation of the proposal’s relevance, rationale, and expected impact.

How do I submit an application?

The call for applications will remain open until November 15, 2026. All necessary documentation, including the terms of the call for proposals, the evaluation criteria, and the funding regulations, is available here.
