Check for errors!

If there are any, report them as soon as possible and always during the morning of the first day of the exams, both to the representative of your centre and to the board.

Voluntary phase

To take the voluntary phase of the exams in the Valencian Community, you must be registered in this community before 1 January of the year in which the exams take place or prove that you work in this community. As we have already indicated in the section “Dates and timetables”, the board will give you your personalised timetable for the exams, as well as some identifying labels that you must use in all the exercises

These labels contain data that identify each student: ID number, name and surname and subjects enrolled. In case you detect any error, you must immediately notify the classroom supervisor so that he/she can make the appropriate checks

In addition to these details, the cards also contain the username and password for you to access the portal where you can consult your marks and carry out all the formalities related to the PAU

If you have studied baccalaureate in the Valencian Community, you must register for the PAU at the centre where you studied baccalaureate

If you have studied baccalaureate in another Autonomous Community, you must sit the PAU exams (compulsory and voluntary phases) in that community, at the university to which your centre is affiliated.

Hacer pre-registration

The pre-registration to access UPV studies is done through an application provided by the Generalitat Valenciana.

It is recommended that, before accessing the process, you read carefully the instructions to carry out the procedure, as well as the guide to know how to identify yourself.

In addition, the UPV has organised a webinar where we explain in a simple way the steps you have to follow to pre-enrol correctly in the studies you want. You can access the resource from the section "Webinar help".

Pre-registration accepted

Have you been admitted to the pre-registration? On this self-enrolment page, you will find the date and time you have to enrol. Remember that enrolment is done online and that it is very important to do it in the assigned timetable, otherwise, it will be understood that you give up your place and this vacancy will be assigned to another student through the waiting lists.

We provide you with more information about the enrolment process and dates in section 5 “Make your enrolment”.

Waiting lists

Waiting lists allow candidates who were not initially admitted to a specific programme (degree, double degree, or PARS) to have an opportunity to take up places that become available at a later date. This may occur if initially admitted candidates decide not to enrol or cancel their enrolment.

What to do if you are on a waiting list?

If you have not been admitted to your desired degree, you will be on the waiting list for that degree, double degree or PARS by default. If you are still interested, it is imperative that you activate yourself on this list between 14 and 18 July (until 23.59 pm).

It is important to note that this action must be done by yourself and that you have the possibility to register in as many lists as you wish. If you do not activate yourself on the waiting list for a grade within this period, you will not participate in the allocation of possible vacancies in the following phases.

How to activate on a waiting list?

You can activate your place on the waiting list directly on the page where you consult the pre-registration results

Once the results are known, if you have not been admitted to the first degree option you applied for, you will be assigned an order number on the waiting list.

But in order for you to be called from a waiting list if vacancies occur, you MUST be activated on the waiting list (one for each degree)

In this way, the university will only call candidates who have indicated their interest in pursuing that particular degree. If you do not activate, you lose your chance of being admitted to that degree. Waiting list calls are managed by each university.

You can activate your place on the waiting list by going to the website of the university to which the degree you want to study and for which you are on the waiting list belongs. If you have applied for degrees from different universities, you must follow the instructions and deadlines of each university to activate your place on the waiting list

To get on the waiting lists for UPV degree courses, all you need to do is enter your ID number (not including the letter) and go to the section entitled “Waiting list information”. There, by clicking on the "Manage waiting list" button, you will see the degrees and double degrees for which you have not been initially admitted and which are pending.

If you decide that you want to opt for any or all of them, simply click on the “+” button next to each course. If you wish to unsubscribe from any list, click on the "-" button

If you are interested in joining a waiting list for another degree at a different university, you should consult the deadlines and procedures on the website of that university.

If you are interested in joining a waiting list for a different degree at a different university, you should consult the deadlines and procedures on the website of that university.

Deadlines for activation

The deadline for activation on the UPV waiting lists is from the moment the admission results are published until 18 July 2024 at 23:59 hours. At later stages, although you do not need to reactivate at the UPV, you can resign from a waiting list if you are no longer interested in that degree.

If you are interested in getting on a waiting list for another degree at a different university, you should consult the deadlines and procedures on the website of that university.

05.

Make the registration

You are very close to joining the UPV community. If you have reached this step, your pre-registration has been approved and now it's time to formalise your enrolment, we are looking forward to meeting you!

Hacer la matrícula

The registration system for undergraduate, double degree and new PARS students is the same. Admitted students will receive an appointment for self-enrolment in the degree, double degree or PARS where you have been admitted.

Dates: 16 and 17 July 2024.

Dates: 16 and 17 July 2024.

Complete the enrolment process easily through the self-enrolment platform.

What if I remain on the waiting list?

As we explained in section 4 “Make your pre-registration”, waiting lists are an option for people who did not manage to get into a study programme at first. If someone who was initially accepted decides not to register or cancels their registration, the places left vacant can be taken up by those on these waiting lists.

In addition, UPV places that have become available seats will be offered to people who are on the waiting lists and who have been activated.

On the other hand, if you enrol at the UPV, the places you have left vacant will be offered to people who are on the waiting lists and who have been activated.

On the other hand, if you enrol in one degree and you are subsequently admitted to another degree that is of greater interest to you, you can enrol in the latter and cancel the previous enrolment. This procedure is automatic if both degrees are from the UPV (the same automatic enrolment application, when you enrol for the second degree, asks you if you want to cancel the enrolment for the first one). But if the studies are from different universities, you must ask at the centre where you have enrolled first how to request the cancellation.

What to do if you are on the waiting list

If you have not been admitted to the desired degree, you will be on the waiting list for that degree, double degree or PARS by default. If you are interested, it is essential that you activate yourself on this list, but, above all, always remember to have enrolled in a degree.

It is important to note that this action must be done by yourself and that you have the possibility to register in as many lists as you wish. If you do not get on the waiting list for a grade within this period, you will not participate in the allocation of possible vacancies in the following phases.

How to activate on a waiting list?

You can activate your place on the waiting list directly on the page where you consult the pre-registration results.

All you need to do is log in with your ID number (not including the letter) and go to the section entitled “Waiting list information”. There, when you click on the button "Manage waiting list", you will see the degrees and double degrees for which you have not been initially admitted and which are pending. If you decide that you want to opt for one of them, simply click on the "+" button next to each course. If you wish to unsubscribe from any of the lists, click on the "-" button.

Degrees from another university

If you are interested in getting on a waiting list for another degree at a different university, you should check the deadlines and procedures on the website of that university.

Allocation of available seats

If you have pre-registered for a degree, double degree or PARS at the Universitat Politècnica de València and you have been left on the waiting list, you still have the option to access.

Five calls will be made to allocate the available seats. Remember that, if you are admitted, you must register in the days indicated below:

  • Allocation 19 July: enrolment from 9:00 a.m. on 22 July until 2:00 p.m. on 23 July
  • Allocation 24 July: registration from 9:00 a.m. on 25 July until 2:00 p.m. on 26 July
  • Allotment 29 July: registration from 9:00 on 30 July until 14:00 on 31 July.
  • Allocation 3 September: registration from 9:00 a.m. on 4 September to 2:00 p.m. on 5 September
  • Allocation 6 September: enrolment from 9:00 a.m. on 9 September until 2:00 p.m. on 10 September.

If you are on a waiting list for a degree, double degree or PARS at the UPV, you should check the day of each call, from 5 p.m. onwards, on the pre-registration results website. There you will be able to check if there has been any movement in the waiting list of the degree you are interested in and if you have been assigned an available seat. If you have been admitted in any of these calls, on this self-enrolment page, you will find the date and time when you have to enrol

In any case, if you are admitted in any of the calls, you will receive an SMS to your mobile phone to inform you of the date and time when you must register, as well as your PIN number to identify yourself

And remember: from these dates onwards, there may be more centralised calls for applications (the UPV website will provide timely information) and, once this process is over, the schools and faculties may fill the last vacancies by using the waiting lists of their degree programmes. And once the waiting list calls are over, the UPV website will inform if there are any degree courses with available seats or vacancies left unfilled.
