Presentation of the degree

This degree trains students in the field of creation, production and realization in the various audiovisual media. It is an innovative programme through project-based learning: throughout the degree students have to face the challenge the semester's transversal projects, as a group, they must integrate the knowledge acquired in the subjects to present a realistic and professional proposal. This experience enables them to analyze and review, to master multimedia communication and to be willing to innovate in different media and digital productions

Career opportunities

Graduates can work in companies related to the audiovisual and multimedia industry for television, radio, cinema, digital environments and videogames, under profiles such as director, scriptwriter and audiovisual producer; producer and manager of these companies; specialist in visual and sound post-production; and as an audiovisual communication expert

International mobility and internships

We have agreements with universities in Germany, Austria, Belgium, Finland, France, Greece, Ireland, Italy, Norway, the Netherlands, Portugal, Poland, the Czech Republic, Sweden and Turkey.

Students can carry out internships in companies that represent all the fields and areas of interest of the degree. The School has signed agreements with 108 entities: radio stations, television networks, production companies, audiovisual companies, town halls, associations, advertising agencies, newspapers and magazines.

Further studies

The Degree in Audiovisual Communication enables access to the Master's Degree in Digital Post Production, which has two specialities: Video post production and Audio post production. Also the Master's Degree in Content and Legal Issues in the Information Society (CALSI), whose speciality in E-consulting in the Information Society, specialization in Social Media, is taught entirely in the Gandia campus. It also grants access to any university master's degree from the UPV by taking the appropriate levelling courses.
