Computer Science 2: introduction

This course on Computer Science covers object-oriented programming, inheritance, input operations, exception handling, and data structures in Python. It is part of the SEAMIC degree from the UPV, and it is an online intensive course with five credits and 125 hours, divided into four weeks with theoretical contents, practical sessions, and exams. The course aims to deepen understanding of Python programming and enable students to perform various tasks. The course will cover topics such as efficient solutions to problems, complex data structures, recursion, and algorithmic analysis. Students are expected to complete exercises and participate in programming sessions to learn programming concepts. Resources and announcements will be available on the Polit format platform, where students can also communicate with professors and access virtual environments for programming. By the end of the course, students will have a solid understanding of Python programming and be able to apply their knowledge to real-world problems.
