Bachelor's Double Degree in Chemical Engineering + Textile Technology and Design Engineering

This double degree trains professionals with a solid technical and scientific basis, prepared to design, optimise and lead processes in both the chemical industry and the textile sector. It combines process engineering with the creativity and innovation of textile design.

Both the Degree in Chemical Engineering and the Degree in Textile Engineering qualify graduates to practise the regulated profession of industrial technical engineer.

Degree accredited with the EUR-ACE international quality seal (Chemical Engineering).

In the field of chemical engineering, you will apply for positions of responsibility in the production, quality and environmental departments. You will work in the different sectors of the chemical industry: petrochemicals, plastics, fertilisers, dyes; or related sectors: environmental, biotechnological, food and pharmaceutical.

In the field of textile engineering, you will work in design, management, commercial organisation and management in textile companies with their own technology and in their innovation and development departments; or in design, manufacturing and marketing companies in all fields of the textile sector.

You will be able to spend a semester at one of the universities with which the Alcoy campus has signed exchange agreements. This stay will allow you to live a very positive personal experience, get to know other cultures and master other languages.

This double degree has, through the Degree in Textile Technology and Design Engineering, the Dual Mention that allows students to develop part of their studies in companies in the textile manufacturing and design sector, with training by their technical staff and with the recognition of these studies in subjects of the degree.

This double degree allows access to the Master's Degree in Chemical Engineering, which qualifies students to exercise the profession of chemical engineer, which can be assimilated to a regulated profession. And also, the Master's Degree in Textile Engineering, which is taught on the Alcoy campus and is the only one in this speciality in the Valencian Community.
