The Universitat Politècnica de València is launching 5,764 new entry places for the academic year 2025-2026, distributed in 47 bachelor degrees, 17 double degrees and 12 PARS (Academic Programmes with Successive Pathways), which are taught at the Vera, Gandia and Alcoy campuses. If you want to know more about each of them, look at our videos. In 92 seconds, we tell you the basics of each degree from the hand of a student and a qualified professional.
The Universitat Politècnica de València is expanding its range of Bachelor's and Double Bachelor's Degrees for the next academic year with 5 degrees designed to respond to the great technological, environmental and social challenges of the 21st century:
Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Engineering
Bachelor's Degree in Artificial Intelligence
Bachelor's Double Degree in Biotechnology + Chemistry
Bachelor's Double Degree in Chemical Engineering + Textile Technology and Design Engineering
Bachelor's Double Degree in Environmental Sciences + Marine Sciences and Technologies
Since 2023 the HAA UPV mention (High Academic Achievement) recognises the efforts of the most brilliant students. This initiative applies to all UPV degrees -and not only to the six degrees that until then had an HAA group-. Thus, students whose average grade is in the first quartile and who fulfil other added-value conditions to their curriculum will include a mention of their performance in their European Diploma Supplement (EDS) and the rest of their official academic certificates.
And for students interested in engineering and architecture, the PARS option is undoubtedly the most advantageous. It allows them to select directly at pre-enrolment the possibility of taking a bachelor's degree and its corresponding master's degree consecutively (but does not commit them to it).
And when the time comes, the students can enrol in the master's degree even if they still have to pass 30 ECTS credits (including the bachelor's thesis). For other students, this possibility is limited to 9 credits. In practice, this means that the students can start the master's degree even if they must pass undergraduate courses. This advantage does not apply to other students.
Whatever you choose, remember that the Universitat Politècnica de València is the best technological university in Spain, according to the Academic Ranking of World Universities (ARWU), known as the Shanghai ranking. And it is among the 250 universities with the highest employability in the world, according to the QS GER ranking.
To all this, we must add the more than a thousand agreements that allow the exchange of students with foreign universities; the international accreditations; the high rates of student satisfaction with the training received; the magnificent sports facilities, free of charge for the university community; the commitment to sustainability...
Pre-registration for UPV studies is done through an application which enables the Generalitat Valenciana. The date is 16 June to 4 July 2025 and for students from foreign systems, the date is from 16 June to 8 July, extendable from 14 to 31 July.
