Seminar “Sustainable Management for Pest and Disease Control”.

Yesterday the ETSIAMN hosted the conference entitled “Sustainable management for pest and disease control.”The course was taught by professionals from Certis-Belchim.

The session began with the intervention of Elías Mas, Project Manager, who presented various integrated strategies within the framework of the strategic project “Growing for the Future”.The company’s activities are focused on promoting a more sustainable and efficient management of agricultural production.

Inmaculada Marín, Country Regulatory Specialist, then gave an overview of the process of inclusion of active ingredients and registration of formulated products, explaining the main regulatory aspects that condition their development and commercialization.

Finally, María Jesús Zanón, Development Manager, presented the product Valcure, developed by the company, detailing its characteristics and its application in disease control.

The conference allowed students and faculty to learn first-hand about current tools and approaches for more sustainable phytosanitary management, strengthening the connection between academic training and professional practice.
