The students of the Master’s Degree in Industrial Safety visited the company’s chemical plant Fertiberia in Puerto de Sagunto (Valencia), activity framed in the subjects of “Industrial Safety Management and Organization” and “Industrial safety of equipment and installations” for the first semester of the 25/26 academic year. They were welcomed by the plant manager of the company, Felipe Saz. The students were able to visit the facilities, to learn first-hand about the process, technical and organizational aspects of industrial safety management in the company and to see the actual application of the various industrial safety regulations in a facility of this type (loading and unloading of dangerous goods, chemical storage, explosive atmospheres, explosive atmospheres, pressure equipment or fire protection among others) .
The Master’s Degree in Industrial Safety is committed to the quality training of its students.and includes the realization of various field visits to industrial facilities in order to complete the theoretical and practical training given in the classroom. This visit has been financed by the DINT grants awarded by the Vice-rectorate for Planning, Studies, Quality and Accreditation of the UPV.
