The Master’s Degree in Electronic Systems Engineering (MUISE) held on May 27th a networking day at the Department of Electronic Engineering of the Universitat Politècnica de València, bringing together students, faculty and leading technology companies in an environment of professional and technological exchange.
The companies EMXYS, PLD Space, DAS Photonics, Fermax and AERTEC participated in this edition, sharing with the students their lines of work, technological challenges and professional development opportunities in leading sectors such as aerospace, advanced electronics and communications.
The conference allowed students to learn first-hand about the professional profile currently demanded by the industry, as well as to establish direct contact with engineers and former students of the master’s degree who are developing their careers in these companies.
One of the aspects most valued by the attendees was precisely the proximity to young professionals and graduates of MUISE itself:
“It’s good to hear talks from companies; it’s very interesting to know what is being done at the moment and, above all, what they are looking for in profiles like ours. Being able to talk to young people like us, who have also taken the MUISE, and listen to both their experience and their advice is invaluable.”
In addition, the event served to highlight the value of the technological and industrial ecosystem of the Valencian Community, especially in the aerospace field:
“What has surprised me the most has been the incredible level of companies founded in the Valencian Community in the aerospace sector. It is incredible to see how teams formed in part by young workers are able to build rockets from scratch”.
The activity is part of the MUISE’s commitment to complement academic training with initiatives that bring students closer to the industrial reality and promote the connection between university and business, facilitating future opportunities for internships, TFM and employment. This activity is funded by the SIRVE program of the UPV.
