The Master’s Degree in Materials Engineering, Processing and Characterization is pleased to announce the visit of Dr. Silvia Barbosa, a leading researcher in chemical engineering and materials recycling, who will give two seminars at our facilities during the month of January 2025.
D. in Chemical Engineering and a specialist in the development and processing of polymeric materials, Dr. Barbosa is a researcher at the Chemical Engineering Pilot Plant (PLAPIQUI) and is part of the National Council for Scientific and Technical Research (CONICET) in Argentina. Her expertise covers disciplines such as thermoplastics recycling, composite materials development and active packaging films, with a focus on sustainability and plastic waste valorization.
