Admission requirements

According to the specific requirements and merit assessment criteria, the Master’s Degree in Organization and Logistics Engineering establishes a certain priority of access according to the previous degree (in this case, from highest to lowest priority is established):

  • Degree in Electrical Engineering, Degree in Electronic Engineering, Degree in Mechanical Engineering and Degree in Chemical Engineering.
  • Degree in Industrial Design and Product Development Engineering.
  • Technical Industrial Engineering (Electrical, Electronic, Mechanical, Chemical or Textile).
  • Degree in Computer Engineering.
  • Technical Engineering in Computer Management.
  • Any other Engineering Degree that meets the legally established requirements.
  • Any international degree equivalent in content to the above.

Admission for disabled students

For students with specific educational needs arising from a disability, appropriate support and counseling services will be established to assess the needs of curricular adaptations, itineraries or alternative studies, through the support of the CEDAT Foundation of the UPV.

The CEDAT Foundation of the UPV offers information and advice to members of the university community with disabilities, as well as accompaniment and support in the classroom. In addition, it provides technical aids for study to those members of the student body who, due to their special educational needs, require it. It also promotes and manages training and employment actions for this group, both inside and outside the UPV campuses, and offers different services from its Special Employment Center.

The foundation also carries out projects for the elimination of architectural and urban barriers, comprehensive accessibility plans, accessibility audits, project reviews, advice and design of ideal accessibility models.

Admission criteria

Candidates will be ranked according to the following criteria:

Grade point average

Average grade obtained in the academic record of the university degree(s) with which the applicant is applying for access to the Master, taking into account the suitability of the training profile with the training program of the Master (80%).

Professional Curriculum

Candidate’s professional curriculum vitae, taking into account complementary training and other merits of interest (20%)

Whenever deemed appropriate, and as part of the selection process, the Master’s Academic Committee may conduct personal interviews with the candidates.

In the case of students with specific educational needs derived from disability, appropriate support and counseling services will be established to assess the needs of curricular adaptations, itinerary or alternative studies through the support of the UPV’s CEDAT foundation.

Regarding partial enrollment, the Master’s Academic Committee will study, from among the applications admitted to the Master, the requests for partial enrollment and will award them according to the availability of places.

Once all the applications have been evaluated, and after the corresponding period for claims, the Master’s Academic Committee will publish the final list of admitted students. The Master’s Academic Committee will annually review the criteria for admission of students.

Scholarships

Studies leading to an official university degree allow access to scholarships and grants. The Ministry of Education, the Generalitat Valenciana and the Universitat Politècnica de València itself offer various scholarships and grants.

General scholarships for students pursuing post-compulsory studies valid throughout the national territory. The scholarship will consist of exemption from payment of fees for the provision of university academic services (tuition fees), corresponding to subjects enrolled for the first time. Other fixed and variable amounts may also be obtained, if the requirements established for this purpose are met.

For the awarding of the scholarship it is necessary to prove administrative residence in the Valencian Community and not to exceed the income thresholds established by the call, as well as to comply with the general and academic requirements. The scholarship consists of the exemption from the payment of fees for the provision of university academic services (tuition fees), for subjects enrolled in first and second enrollment.

The Universitat Politècnica de València offers various scholarships or grants such as social action grants, canteen grants or collaboration training grants. There are also grants for sportsmen and women.

Pre-registration process

Pre-registration is the procedure used to order all the applications received by each university master’s degree, according to the access requirements that have been established and the evaluation of the merits presented by each applicant. It is a procedure that, at the Universitat Politècnica de València, is carried out through an online application and with a different (longer) deadline for students from outside the European Union.
