Access requirements

The Academic Title Committee (CAT) is the competent body for establishing the assessment criteria to be applied in order to determine the order of priority in the allocation of places, in accordance with the Pre-registration and Admission Regulations for university master’s degree studies at the UPV. Since teaching is conducted in English and in order to ensure that students are able to follow all training activities, students from non-English-speaking countries will be required to provide accreditation of a level equivalent to B2 in English for admission.

The list of certificates accepted by the Universitat Politècnica de València for accreditation of the foreign language proficiency requirement is the one shown in the updated table of certificates recognised by ACLES (Asociación de Centros de Lenguas de la Enseñanza Superior en España). Students who have completed their qualifying studies in educational systems that use English as the language of instruction will be exempt from this accreditation.

Admission for students with disabilities

For students with specific educational needs arising from a disability, appropriate support and advisory services will be established to assess the need for curricular adaptations, alternative pathways or studies, through the support of the CEDAT Foundation of the UPV.

The CEDAT Foundation of the UPV provides information and advice to members of the university community with disabilities, as well as accompaniment and support in the classroom. It also provides technical study aids to those students who, due to their special educational needs, require them. It also promotes and manages training and employment actions for this group, both within and outside the UPV campuses, and offers various services from its Special Employment Centre.

Likewise, the foundation carries out projects for the elimination of architectural and urban barriers, comprehensive accessibility plans, accessibility audits, project reviews, advice and design of ideal accessibility models.
