Admission to the Master’s Degree in Mathematical Research of graduates from degrees that meet the recommended admission profile but with a teaching load of less than 240 ECTS (diplomas, technical engineering or others) is viable, if they are admitted in the selection process. In these cases, if the Academic Committee of the Degree considers it convenient, it will advise the student to carry out complementary studies that will allow him/her to improve his/her level.
Students applying for admission to the master’s degree must accredit a minimum of 30 credits of subjects with a high mathematical content. For the admission and selection of students, criteria of academic excellence will be used, in which the academic record will be the main consideration. Student exchange agreements between the two universities responsible for the master’s degree and the sending universities of potential applicants for admission, if any, will also be taken into account.
Admission for disabled students
For students with specific educational needs arising from a disability, appropriate support and counseling services will be established to assess the needs of curricular adaptations, itineraries or alternative studies, through the support of the CEDAT Foundation of the UPV.
The CEDAT Foundation of the UPV offers information and advice to members of the university community with disabilities, as well as accompaniment and support in the classroom. In addition, it provides technical aids for study to those members of the student body who, due to their special educational needs, require it. It also promotes and manages training and employment actions for this group, both inside and outside the UPV campuses, and offers different services from its Special Employment Center.
The foundation also carries out projects for the elimination of architectural and urban barriers, comprehensive accessibility plans, accessibility audits, project reviews, advice and design of ideal accessibility models.
