Get to know the PIAE+ program, where professors and students from the same degree program as you help you with whatever you need to succeed at the UPV.
The Comprehensive Student Support Program (PIAE+) is a project of the Vice-Rector’s Office for Students and Entrepreneurship, designed to improve the academic performance of all UPV students, whether they are undergraduate, master’s or doctoral students. It helps them to better integrate on campus, enhance their well-being and prevent them from dropping out of their studies.
This program aims to make the path easier for students, resolving all their doubts, encouraging entrepreneurship and providing them with the necessary skills to succeed in the labor market.
In each school or faculty, there is a team of tutors who, in personal or group sessions, resolve the doubts and concerns that students have about their studies, teachers and the various activities offered by the University in order to make their performance as effective as possible.
At the services fair, students learn about all the resources available to them at UPV: academic and language support services, professional development and employment services, welfare and cultural services, and student representation and support services.
The PIAE+ also has a free psychological counseling service (GOPU) for any member of the university community who needs it. Each year, some 300 students are attended to by this expert staff, mainly to consult anxiety problems (either before exams or in day-to-day situations), deficits in academic performance or mood disorders.
