Title description

The building sector is constantly changing to adapt to new situations in a more international and globalized market, pursuing new objectives and proposals. These changes affect both its technological aspects, the set of sciences and techniques applied in building construction, and the management processes to be adopted by developers, builders and real estate companies involved in building works. Nowadays, building is being carried out under new and more complex constructive proposals that are demanding an advanced interdisciplinary knowledge in these matters. This is why there is a clear demand for the intervention of specialized technicians in building projects who, based on a synthetic and integrated knowledge of technological and management disciplines, can respond adequately to the new demands of the sector and, in turn, can generate new advanced specific knowledge in these matters. Building management has been transformed in such a way that it requires high-level specialization in disciplines such as BIM, Lligen, Industrialization, Feasibility, Real Estate Management or Business Management.

This approach has positioned us as the best Master in Building and Construction in Spain in 2021, 2022 and 2023, according to El Mundo ranking. In addition, being an Official Master recognized by the European Higher Education Area, it enables to obtain a PhD in any European university, with direct access to the PhD program in Architecture, Building and Urbanism of the Universitat Politècnica de València. The research training, the ability to design, manage and intervene in development and innovation projects is currently shown as an important component in the professional performance in the field of building. The Master’s Degree in Building aims to respond to these new training requirements with a proposal that integrates professional specialization, interdisciplinary knowledge and training for research, innovation and development in the field of building. For this reason, professionals from business entities with great experience in the sector such as 10t Project Management, Butech, Inhaus or Spans and professional associations such as COAT take part in the planning and teaching of its contents.
