Access requirements
The requirements to access the Master’s Degree in Cybersecurity and Cyberintelligence are the following:
- Hold an official university degree in Computer Engineering, Telecommunication Technologies and Services Engineering, Telematics Engineering, Computational Mathematics or related fields. Related degrees or engineering degrees are also accepted.
- Comply with the conditions established in article 16 of RD 1393/2007 and RD 861/2010 for access to master’s degree programs.
- The academic record, the affinity of the candidate’s profile with the content of the master’s degree, the curriculum vitae and, if deemed appropriate, an interview may be conducted by the academic committee.
Admission for disabled students
For students with specific educational needs arising from a disability, appropriate support and counseling services will be established to assess the needs of curricular adaptations, itineraries or alternative studies, through the support of the CEDAT Foundation of the UPV.
The CEDAT Foundation of the UPV offers information and advice to members of the university community with disabilities, as well as accompaniment and support in the classroom. In addition, it provides technical aids for study to those members of the student body who, due to their special educational needs, require it. It also promotes and manages training and employment actions for this group, both inside and outside the UPV campuses, and offers different services from its Special Employment Center.
The foundation also carries out projects for the elimination of architectural and urban barriers, comprehensive accessibility plans, accessibility audits, project reviews, advice and design of ideal accessibility models.

Admission criteria
Admission criteria for the Master’s Degree in Cybersecurity and Cyberintelligence include:

Possession of an official university degree
The candidate must have an official Spanish university degree or equivalent.

Evaluation of the academic record
The evaluation of the candidate’s academic record is considered.
C
Affinity of the candidate’s profile
The affinity of the candidate’s profile with the content of the master’s degree is evaluated, considering previous university studies.
D
Curriculum Vitae
It should include professional and research experience, other courses and merits related to the content of the master’s degree.
E
Interview
If the academic committee considers it appropriate, an interview will be held with the candidate.
The academic committee will regulate the process and will establish weightings for the evaluation criteria, which will be made public at the beginning of the pre-enrollment period.
Scholarships
Studies leading to an official university degree allow access to scholarships and grants. The Ministry of Education, the Generalitat Valenciana and the Universitat Politècnica de València itself offer various scholarships and grants.

General scholarships for students pursuing post-compulsory studies valid throughout the national territory. The scholarship will consist of exemption from payment of fees for the provision of university academic services (tuition fees), corresponding to subjects enrolled for the first time. Other fixed and variable amounts may also be obtained, if the requirements established for this purpose are met.

For the awarding of the scholarship it is necessary to prove administrative residence in the Valencian Community and not to exceed the income thresholds established by the call, as well as to comply with the general and academic requirements. The scholarship consists of the exemption from the payment of fees for the provision of university academic services (tuition fees), for subjects enrolled in first and second enrollment.
The Universitat Politècnica de València offers various scholarships or grants such as social action grants, canteen grants or collaboration training grants. There are also grants for sportsmen and women.

The Master’s Degree in Cybersecurity and Cyberintelligence of the Universitat Politècnica de València offers the possibility of accessing different scholarships to support the training of its students. These scholarships are designed to facilitate the insertion of graduates in a highly demanded and continuously evolving sector.
It is intended that these financial aid grants will help alleviate the financial burden of the program and allow students to focus on acquiring the necessary skills to excel in the field of cybersecurity and cyberintelligence. The offer of scholarships is subject to availability and regulations of each call, and will be disseminated through the university’s official channels at the beginning of each academic year.
Access to pre-registration
Pre-registration for the Master’s Degree in Cybersecurity and Cyberintelligence requires applicants to validate themselves properly. UPV students must use their ID and PIN to apply. On the other hand, UPV staff will use their ID and UPVnet PIN. Applicants coming from other universities must previously request a password and PIN before pre-registration.
Once this process is completed, applicants will be evaluated by the master’s academic committee, which will determine admission based on criteria such as academic record, affinity of the candidate’s profile with the content of the master’s degree, and curriculum vitae.
