Description of the title

The Master’s Degree in Business Administration (MBA) of the Universitat Politècnica de València is designed to train professionals capable of leading and managing organizations in a global business environment, characterized by its complexity and dynamism. Through a practical and theoretical approach, participants will acquire knowledge in key areas such as business organization and management, accounting, finance, marketing and leadership.

The program fosters the development of managerial skills and a greater sensitivity to the ethical aspects of business management. MBA graduates will be prepared to face challenges and make strategic decisions in diverse organizations.

Note: In this subject a maximum of 9 ECTS can be carried out in external curricular internships (the syllabus contemplates a maximum of 9 ECTS for external curricular internships).

Internships

During the MBA program, students will have the opportunity to carry out external internships that will allow them to apply the knowledge acquired in a real professional environment.

These internships will be carried out in companies of the sector and relevant organizations, facilitating the approach to the reality of the business world.

Through this experience, students will be able to develop their management skills and contribute to specific projects, enriching their education and preparing them to assume future leadership roles in various areas of business management.

Students will be able to carry out an academic stay in one of the 97 countries with which the UPV has an agreement. There are more than 1,000 destinations to choose from in Europe (Erasmus scholarships), the United States, Japan, South Korea, China, Australia and Latin America, among others. More than 1,500 UPV students enjoy an exchange every year. Master’s Thesis

To obtain the title of Master’s Degree in Business Administration (MBA), you must defend a Master’s Thesis (TFM), which consists of the tutored development of an original applied or research work. This work must use the knowledge and skills acquired throughout the master’s degree, both generic and specific.

It is important to note that for the presentation and grading of the TFM, it is necessary to have previously passed the rest of the subjects of the program.

The evaluation system is based on projects, where students develop a new and unique product through the completion of various tasks, thus encouraging responsibility, creativity and problem-solving skills in their future professional life. The TFM is worth 12 ECTS and is taught in Spanish and Valencian.
