The XII Congress of Educational Innovation and Networked Teaching (IN-RED 2026), organized by the Vice-Rectorate for Digital Transformation and the Vice-Rectorate for Planning, Studies, Quality and Accreditation, will be held in Valencia on July 9 and 10, 2026. The meeting has established itself as the main national forum for sharing experiences, methodologies and projects that promote new ways of teaching and learning in the university environment.
The Vice-Rectorate for Digital Transformation presents the guide for the use of artificial intelligence services at the UPV, with a practical approach that guides the entire university community in the responsible, safe and efficient use of these tools. The guide is adapted to the needs of the UPV and puts special focus on the protection of personal data present in the documents.
PoliGPT now brings automatic generation of multiple‑choice questions and answers to VideoApuntes, creating test items directly from recorded classes and extending its capabilities beyond summaries and study materials. This new tool strengthens student assessment and learning follow‑up, while providing adaptable, additional support for teaching staff.
The final resolution of the ICT Project Portfolio 2026 has been published, approving the list of projects accepted and planned for execution during 2026.
At the end of the submission period, more than 200 applications for technological projects have been received. This high participation reflects the strong commitment of the university community and the UPV to the continuous improvement of digital services and technological transformation.

Last month, the Vice-Rectorate of Digital Transformation and the Information and Communication Systems Area (ASIC), organized a Focus Group with 15 students to collaboratively analyze the role that artificial intelligence (AI) can play at the UPV in the university day-to-day and to detect uses, needs and concrete proposals around artificial intelligence at the university.
