IAA Report
The UPV has had indicators of teaching and research activity for many years. These indicators have evolved to capture the activity of UPV staff and are independent of the mechanisms used by the GVA to fund us.
The need to add academic activity (also incorporating management activity) arose when changes in state regulations and curricula generated imbalances in the assigned teaching capacity.
Although data are available for the IAA since 2014, the data are homogeneous and comparable since 2016. These data are fed from the indicators of teaching and research activity and information related to management activity. The information has been presented annually so that it could be known by the university community through this report, although the greatest usefulness of the indicator was the distribution of excess capacity in teaching.
The changes in the composition of the staff of the UPV, as well as the evolution in the teaching needs and the modification of the regulations on research activity already made it possible to anticipate in previous reports changes that required a revision of the IAA.
