The Academic Offering and Degree Management Area develops the actions, programs and initiatives of the Vice-Rectorate for Planning, Studies, Quality and Accreditation related to the design, implementation and monitoring of the official degrees of the Universitat Politècnica de València. The area management provides professional guidance and leadership in the following areas:
Academic offeringsAnalysis, planning and updating of the UPV’s degree map, with criteria of sustainability, strategic alignment and adaptation to social and scientific demand. It includes the coordination of new degrees, masters and joint programs, as well as the deployment of double degrees and micro-credentials.
Title managementTechnical support in the procedures for verification, monitoring, modification and renewal of accreditation of official degrees. Promotion of more agile and efficient processes that reduce the bureaucratic burden and favor continuous improvement.
Adaptation to new formatsDesign and support for degrees in innovative formats, such as hybrid master’s degrees, modular programs or lifelong learning, in coordination with other vice-rectors’ offices and external agents.
Inter-agency collaborationThe following are the main objectives of the program: articulation of agreements with other universities and institutions for the development of joint programs, international double degrees and inter-university degrees, fostering the internationalization of the academic offerings.
