A professor of Audiovisual Communication and Advertising at the Autonomous University of Barcelona, he is the author of Radio Language (1994), of the two volumes of History of Radio in Spain (2001–2002) and other works on radio, film, television, and advertising.
He worked as a journalist at Radio Barcelona from 1974 to 1986 and has been responsible for adapting and directing various radio plays for Cadena SER and RNE.
His research focuses on radio language, the history of radio, the history of advertising, radio advertising, and audiovisual credibility.
Balsebre will give a lecture on October 6 in the Conference Room on the Gandia campus.
