A new degree to train the leaders of the digital business.
The Gandia Campus of the Universitat Politècnica de València will launch the next academic year 2026-2027 the Degree in Business and Digital Technology The program is an innovative degree that combines technological skills and business management to train professionals who will lead the digital transformation of organizations.
“The market no longer demands only managers or only technicians, but hybrid profiles. Today’s economy is digital and, from the UPV, we have detected that companies need leaders capable of uniting these two worlds,” Manela Fernández Méndez, Academic Director of the Bachelor’s Degree in Business and Digital Technology. In addition, “the Gandia Campus, with its track record in technology and communication, and its experience in teaching a double degree with ADE, is the ideal ecosystem for this new degree that integrates business, technology and data”.

The Degree in Business and Digital Technology offers a multidisciplinary training that combines economics, finance, marketing or ganization and strategy with data analytics and business intelligence (BI). Students will use artificial intelligence, visualization and programming tools to solve problems, develop responsible and sustainable technology solutions and design innovative business models.
This new degree, which will be taught at the Gandia Campus of the UPV, is designed to prepare professional profiles increasingly demanded by the labor market, such as consultant in digital transformation and process improvement, data analyst, technology project manager, e-commerce manager and marketing digital, specialist in integrated business management systems or technology-based entrepreneur.
As the director of the degree explains, “we seek to train the bridging profile capable of uniting business vision with technical language: a professional who understands the business models of the future, but who also knows how AI algorithms and the big data The company has a strategic vision and analytical skills; in addition to knowing how to manage the company, they are able to understand programming to automate tasks and use statistics to predict the success of an investment or detect financial risks”.
The Bachelor’s Degree in Business and Digital Technology has a duration of four years (240 ECTS credits) and will offer 70 places. The curriculum also includes a professional development module and a Final Degree Project (TFG) aimed at solving current problems of organizations, with the support of specialized faculty and tutors.
With this new degree, the UPV Gandia Campus “reinforces its commitment to training connected to the challenges of the digital economy, positioning itself as a benchmark in the preparation of professionals capable of integrating business and technology to drive a sustainable and data-driven transformation,” says the campus director, Vicenç Almenar.
