The Universitat Politècnica de València (UPV) has organized a new edition of the Guidance Day aimed at guidance personnel, tutors, teachers and management teams of Secondary Education centers. It will address different topics, including the functioning of the PAU of 2025 and the novelties of this test for 2026, employability opportunities in the workplace, and the combination of emotional and artificial intelligence in education.
Speakers at the XXV Orientation 2025 Conference
During the XXV Jornada de Orientación 2025, the regional secretary of Universities, Esther Gómez, will present the results of the centralization of waiting lists and scholarships for students.
Antoni Gil, general coordinator of the Access to the University System, will speak about the novelties of the entrance exams in the Valencian Community. And, the expert in talent management Olga Barroso will talk about the importance of acquiring the necessary digital skills to join, stay and succeed in the present and future world of work.
In addition, during the course of the day, the Vice Rector of Internationalization and Communication of the UPV, José Francisco Monserrat, and the researcher in Educational Sciences María Alfonso will discuss the combination between emotional and artificial intelligence in education.
And, the 2025 session will conclude with a presentation by David Bueno on what neuroeducation brings to the table. A field that seeks to integrate advances in neuroscience, psychology and cognitive science with pedagogical practices to achieve deeper, more efficient and meaningful learning.
