The Negotiating Committee of the IV Equality Plan of the Universitat Politècnica de València (UPV) has started the work that will define the measures and actions in the field of Equality for the coming years.
Chaired by the Vice Chancellor for Art, Science, Technology and Society, Salomé Cuesta, the negotiating committee is made up of a total of 16 members with equal representation between the institution and union representatives, by virtue of the agreement of the Governing Council approved during the session of June 11.
In this regard, the staff collective is represented by a total of eight members from the CCOO, CSIF-UPV, STEPV and UGT unions, while the institution is represented by another eight, belonging to the vice-rectorships of Coexistence and Welfare, Innovation and Transfer, Faculty and Academic Planning, Research, Management, and the Equality and Diversity Unit.
The first work to be addressed by the negotiating committee is the preparation of a diagnostic study on the evolution of the III Plan in force in order to transfer its results to measures and actions that will make up the IV Equality Plan UPV.
