In first person

Natalia Pelejero, head of the Administrative Services of the Gandia Campus of the UPV.

Define the Gandia campus in one sentence: A campus that invites you to learn in a different way, that connects the environment with the people who form it”.

A book: More than a book, I like everything that makes me disconnect and observe life with humor. I always liked the vignettes of Maitena, Calvin and Hobes, Sarah’s Scribbles… and today I follow illustrators who bring that kind of look to today’s world, like Flavita Banana among others.

A movie: I tend to like French and Italian tragicomedies a lot, probably because they have very human, character-driven and emotional stories… although, in general, I like movies that hook me effortlessly and keep me inside the story.

A series: The great friend based on the books by Elena Ferrante. Its characters grab you from the first moment.

A song: I’m quite eclectic so it’s impossible for me to choose just one. I am attracted to those songs where the voice, the emotion and the lyrics have weight. That’s why, in my imagination, coplas coexist with great songs from the 80s/90s, such as Losing my religion o More than words, along with songs by Leiva, such as Lady Madrid, or Natalia Lacunza, as Sad lullaby. But there is also room for more current sounds that are part of the soundtrack of everyday life. In the end, music is also context and moment.  Somehow, all this mix makes sense and coherence in my head.

A travel destination: Anywhere you haven’t been to before.
