From campus to the world

I am Lina Badenes, I studied Audiovisual Communication at the Gandia Campus of the UPV, starting in 2002. Since 2012 I have my own production company, Turanga Films with which I am dedicated to producing films with the intention of reaching the international market and contributing a certain social and cultural value.

What do you remember from your time at the UPV Gandia Campus? What was the most rewarding part of your years of study? And the most challenging?

During my studies in Gandia, several teachers helped me and accompanied me significantly to develop professionally. I remember the cultural and social environment, which was very stimulating. The most rewarding part of those years was the people I met, and the most challenging part was going out into the real world at the end of my studies.

What motivated you to choose the Gandia Campus?

The chance to get out of the family home and live with other students my age.

What skills are crucial in your day-to-day work?

The ability to adapt to all the different and unexpected situations that often arise in each of the productions we do.

What would you recommend to someone who wants to follow in your footsteps?

I would tell him not to be afraid or ashamed, to go to work, because this is a profession and where you learn the most is practice.
