On May 11, a conference focused on the evolution of the bilateral relationship between China and Spain was held in Madrid, where academic collaboration was highlighted as an engine of innovation and joint development.
Within the framework of the China-Spain Pragmatic Cooperation, organized in Madrid by El Periódico de España and the Embassy of the People’s Republic of China, analyzed the evolution of bilateral relations and the main challenges faced by both countries in the current international context.
During the session, it was highlighted the strength of the relationship between Spain and China, based on mutual respect and cooperation in areas such as the economy, culture, education, science and technology, as well as the importance of strengthening dialogue and multilateralism in a complex global environment.
The Polytechnic University of Valencia highlighted initiatives such as its campus in Hangzhou, which facilitates joint training for Spanish and Chinese students and strengthens the university’s internationalization efforts. This type of collaboration fosters talent development, knowledge exchange, and joint research, helping to address the technological and educational challenges of the future.
