From May 6 to 23 at the Library of the Facultat de Belles Arts.
Under the coordination of the Painting teacher Isabel Tristán and the invaluable collaboration of the whole group and the help of the student Nerea López, this exhibition gathers the result of a proposal made around the pictorial procedure of watercolor, whose main characteristic is transparency, diaphanous colors, fluidity, as well as the use of the paper support, gives it lightness, subtlety of the medium allowing it to be a transportable and close art.
Based on this specificity, a proposal is made in which the image dialogues with literature, poetry, the word. Plastic suggestions and echoes from reading and writing: text and image, that fertile coexistence that stimulates and enriches our imagination, possible relationships, allusions, between writing and image. Illustration of texts (stories, poems…), song lyrics, comic, fanzine, magazine, diaries, field notebook, sketchbook, travel notebook, artist’s books, games, calendars…
