The Faculty of Fine Arts of the Universitat Politécnica de València (UPV) organizes, in collaboration with the Museu d’Art Contemporani Vicente Aguilera Cerni de Vilafamés (MACVAC) and the Espai Nivi Gallery, the exhibition EL MAESTRAZZGO Y LA VANGUARDIA CONTEMPORÁNEA will remain until May 25.
The exhibition, curated by Alejandro Mañas García and Laura Silvestre García brings together works from MACVAC and Espai Nivi, in an attempt to approach the contemporary art collections that both spaces are making from within the Maestrazgo;
The selection of works from the MACVAC shown in this exhibition traces a journey through the historical avant-garde of the 20th century, through some of its most emblematic artists. For their part, the proposals selected from the Espai Nivi collection give continuity to this narrative thread and contribute to the visibility of current Valencian artistic creation.
